This Privacy Policy explains how BrixConnect (“BrixConnect”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the BrixConnect Owner Workspace mobile and web application and related services (the “Service”). BrixConnect helps small business owners create, publish, and manage a website for their business.
Information we collect
- Phone number — used to sign you in with a one-time password (OTP). This is how we identify your account.
- Business profile and website content — the details you enter or that you ask us to generate (business name, description, contact details, photos, hours, services, and other website content) so we can build and host your site.
- Account and usage data — records needed to run the product, such as your subscription/plan status, published-site history, and technical logs (for example, request timestamps and error diagnostics).
We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos beyond what you upload, or advertising identifiers. The app does not include third-party advertising or in-app-purchase SDKs.
How we use your information
- To authenticate you and secure your account.
- To generate, preview, publish, and host your business website.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Service and provide support.
- To process subscription payments and keep billing records.
- To comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse.
How your information is stored and protected
Your data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections to our backend at
api.brixconnect.in and stored on managed cloud infrastructure (Amazon Web
Services, India region). We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to
protect your information.
How we share your information
- Payment processing — subscription payments are processed by our payment provider (Razorpay). Payment-card details are handled by the provider; we do not store card numbers.
- Service providers — infrastructure and messaging vendors that help us run the Service (for example, cloud hosting and OTP/SMS delivery), under confidentiality obligations.
- Published website content — content you choose to publish is, by design, publicly visible on your live website.
- Legal — where required by law or to protect our rights and users.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete your account at any time from Account → Delete account in the app. Deleting your account removes your profile and associated data, subject to records we are legally required to retain.
Children
The Service is intended for business owners and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page.
